the first capital city founded in Central America.

Distilling our magical essence

Inside our copper sectioned column stills, our Antiguan spirits come alive.

The preparation prior to a style maceration

Rio Hondo or “Deep River” in Guatemala is where we age our rum.
With 8% of our rums lost in the Angel’s share every year, it’s the perfect place for  ageing.

Ageing Facility: Santa Cruz, Rio Hondo (LAT/LON: 15°00’23.3”N 89°40’00.5”W).

Our ageing is magical and magic is never static

A timeless recipe brought to life with true alchemy

The lost recipe came back to honor Antigua Guatemala and it comes with macerations of plums, raisins and vanilla that rest in the rum to recreate the distinctive taste of Ron Colonial in small batches.

Delicious and balanced sweetness

Miracielo is an artisanal rum, with a balanced sweetness at 19g sugar per litre not 40-60g per liter unlike other rums. The delicate flavour and smooth drinking experience is a passage to the spirit of Antigua Guatemala.

Bottling house: Mixco, Guatemala (LAT/LON: 14°37’48.1”N 90°35’53.0”W).
